May I just say that you will not miss Italy too much in Australia, especially if you go to Melbourne as there are literally millions of Italians there! Head down to Lygon St in Melbourne which is the Italian street full of all things...well Italian!
I miss those things too. I can't wait to get back. I hope your hubby knows how to cook, in case you miss good Italian food. But hopefull you will make friends with some Italian expats.
