It’s 4am:(
This time of the day each day is a very important time for us here in Australia. Each day at 4am we are awaken by the lovely;) birds that never fail to wake us up. E and I can't put a name to the birds but we are about to buy a rifle and shoot them all (jokes). If we don't hear the birds we joke that someone has already killed them for us. We now have this love hate relationship with all birds. If someone knows the name of the birds that hang out this time of the year and that time of the morning please let us know. Here are some pictures (not ours) of some of the birds around Australia.

I think the first photo is a Kookaburra. Not sure if that is how you spell it, but it looks like one.
I know what you mean I have to wear earplugs from late spring into early fall because the stinkin beautiful birds wake me up waaay to early.
